House music powerhouse twins, George and Joseph Mothiba best known as Revolution have resurfaced with a brand new album, entitled Moribo.
Moribo, a Northern Sotho word meaning rhythm takes the listener on a uniquely prepared music journey that picks up different sounds across the world with a strong feel of African touch – something that the duo has become known for. The album is packed with fourteen banging tunes, firing up the release with brilliantly crafted song, ‘Spring Tide’ which features talented vocalist Msaki.
Changing gears, the twins reclaim their title in the ever-growing mainstream industry with a majestic hit, ‘Moribo’ – a dance floor banger that incorporate tribal drums and well laced synths. This upbeat tune is a sure contender to be a chart buster and national party anthem.
The track ‘Mulher’, a Portuguese word meaning woman features Weza Solange on vocals from Angola compliments women for their contribution in nation building. A well packaged crossover beat!
Other tune to enjoy is a monstrous, ‘Flame’ which guarantees to brighten the house music scene. Keeping it the Revolution style, the twins have another magnetic tune, ‘Sound Track’ – a mix of tribal drums and orchestra sounds.
